Possibly my new Dev ID. Tell me what you think.

Faves and comments welcome.

Sometimes a Mother can be beautiful, sometimes she can be scary, sometimes she can be fierce, this one is all of the above.

Edit: changed the sharpness of the picture.

About 100 layers, all with photoshop CS3. ~10 hours

Edit:

Removed the planet and added more nebulus goodness.

You should start doing asteroids or something that leads up to the nebula so it leads your eye to focus on it. Have you done asteriods before? lol

Rotate your star stock (I can see a pattern on the lower left side of the nebula). Other than that I really like this, especially the detail in bottom right. And the title lawl

Yeah that comes from me cloning to cover failed things, I had a planet there and then I removed it. I'll fix it when I get the chance. And yes I've done asteroids. I think my next piece will be some kind of asteroid field.

I find it really hard to write a lot about your pieces, because I don't know all that much about what it is you do, I really like this piece, but aesthetically, I would have removed the bright star at the top next to the planet on the left, because it seems to detract from the amazing detail of the planet itself!?
Those are just my two cents, it's an amazing piece.
